Researching Attractions at The Forks

Using the planning sheet you have been provided;

1.  Write a short introduction about The Forks

2. Research at least 3 attractions at The Fork you would like to present in your brochure.

3.  Write a sentence for each attraction that you feel will want to make people come to this attraction at the Forks.

When your planning sheet is completely filled out you may go to Typing Club or DreamBox.

1. - Typing Club - practice typing until 2:37.

2. - DreamBox until it is time to logout.

Today we are going to start researching information about the Forks in Winnipeg to learn more and prepare for our field trip in June.

In your partner groups read the information on the Forks website.

Write down notes and main ideas about each section that you read.  You must write at least one item for each heading.

Your jobs:
1.  Watch THIS video.  Use your note taking sheet to collect as much information about the different habitats.

2.  Go to DREAMBOX and work on the fraction and decimal sections.

3.  at 1:45 you can go to TYPING CLUB and continue to work through your assignments.  Remember to use good posture and hand position.

At 1:55 finish and log out of your computer to get ready for recess.
